Meet the Volkswagen Taos, our compact SUV and another addition to our SUVW family. It delivers all the style, space, and German engineering Volkswagen is known for – in a compact and sculpted package.

Even at first glance, its standout design makes a statement. Taos continues Volkswagen’s clean approach to design, with youthful touches to keep it fresh. Highlights include a distinctive LED light signature, a crisp side profile with squared-off wheel arches, premium interior design details, and fun exterior colours like available Cornflower Blue.

Taos is a truly compact 5-seater, measuring 236 mm shorter than the Tiguan. Yet it offers generous space by class standards, with 2,817 L of passenger volume and up to 1,877 L of cargo volume with the back row folded down.

Power comes from the new 1.5-litre TSI engine, powered by advanced engineering to produce 158 horsepower and 184 lb-ft of torque – all while delivering exceptional fuel economy. Standard 17 or available 18 and 19-inch aluminum alloy wheels bring this power to the streets.

Finally, an SUVW wouldn’t be complete without comfort. That’s why Taos comes with a wide range of standard features like heated front seats, LED headlights and taillights, and a digital cockpit. Plus, drivers can choose available 4MOTION® All-Wheel Drive to enhance their comfort during, and control over, Canadian winters.

All in all, this compact makes an impact. The all-new Volkswagen Taos is set to launch in Canada in summer 2021.
